Happy Easter!!!

I have dreamt of this story for a long time and waited for Easter, so let’s have it.

A man who was barely rich, managing himself and married to a wife with no child. He later opted out for adoption and took that child like his own.

The child grew and it was time to write an examination that was necessary in furthering his education to the university.

He went for the exam and failed, he went again the second year and didn’t meet the standard to get his desired course.

The old man and his wife sat down to discuss things, the child was all they had of course and they were ready to give their all for his comfort.

They gathered their savings and encouraged him to go to a school that could accept his score even though they had to pay higher.

Is it looking like Nollywood? Lol.

Before I continue the ‘movie’ , have you read this?

What A Flight!

He finished well from the university, he recieved allowances every month as his foster parents kept pressing on to give him the best.

Isn’t it time for the parents to reap their fruits or even get appreciated? Shockingly, someone somewhere distracted the child and he didn’t return home.

Oh! They understood, he could just be busy. But, months after months, he stopped picking their calls. Years after years, they feared, what could it be? They didn’t even know where he stayed.

They were rejected and just again, they became the couple without a child. Thoughts upon thoughts killed the woman, then the man.

Now, I’m not going to say why the child absconded.

It’s sad right? It’s unfair! It’s wickedness!! You just want to ask why and slap that child.

Are you not that child to Jesus?

The one who sacrificed his all, his comfort just for you. Have you accepted him as the Father of your life?

John 15:13
[13]Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Oh! Maybe you have, have you enjoyed a bit of rain, little luck and you just abscon? You feel it’s your right to have these things, why should you give your all back to him?

You know, maybe the old man had even written will and attached his name to all the properties he has that the child might not know of, but he went off on his own so fast.

Romans 8:15
[15]For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

There’s fullness of blessing in Christ that are inexhaustible, don’t settle for the tip of the iceberg and run off. Some smell small goodness of God and forget God.

Wait at his presence constantly to get the fullness of God’s blessings, don’t settle for the tip of the iceberg. There’s more!

Most importantly, that family is just a tiny example of the sacrifices Christ did for you.

If Christ were man, with all the rejections despite his faithfulness to us. If you were that man, you might not forgive, you might even curse him or do evil things to hurt that child.

But Christ, he would never, he loves you despite it all. He still yearns for you to accept him as your Father, he is ready to make more sacrifices for your sake, praying for you to God, what a privilege!

You have been busy, he understands, he is still waiting. Things have been working well, yet he waits.

Let the reason of the season have effect on you.

Do not nail Christ to the cross again.
