Months back, I published my first book ‘walking with God by chance’. I probably left out somethings or let me say, God gave me more revelations relating to it again that I must share.

I remember I stated that not all his will be palatable, and yes I had a share of such experiences at a point in my life. That’s what I’ve come to elaborate on.

What can God be doing to me?

Walking with God by his spirit entails submitting your will to his will whether good to the physical or not. As much as we are told to always relate things to God first before taking steps, as human as we are, somethings that are not palatable will still occur and God will use them for his glory

The Bible says ‘patience begets testimonies ‘

Hebrews 10:36
[36]For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

If we don’t need something, we won’t need patience and if our desires comes immediately we wont have need for patience too. So, clearly doing the will of God sometimes doesn’t come to manifestation immediately but still for his glory.

John 11:4
[4]When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

Not all his will will be pleasant, walking by His Spirit doesn’t rule out patience to recieve.

He can take you through the rough road, sometimes you say like Jesus ‘let this cup pass from me’

Matthew 26:38-39
[38]Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
[39]And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Your sorrowful heart is valid, you don’t like it, you don’t like that he is leading you to that state that you so want to redeploy, or that man to marry that doesn’t follow with your expectations.

You cry so much, why God? Jesus felt like that too. If it be possible, you wish you could change things.

Always be like Christ, submit your will to His will. Not as you will but as the Lord wills

Get to the point you say ‘if thou will not go or agree with me on this, I wont go’

You desire so much great things, like I was talking to my boss and she said after her youth service, she was advised to apply to a place and was sure of being accepted ,yet God refused.

We can get to that point where a seemingly good thing that’s not God’s perfect will should pass us by. You can tell God to let that job pass you if it’s not His will no matter how enticing.

In another way, we are in the world where you must spread your tentacles and we are not allowed to let opportunities pass. Can you take a moment to pray that difficult prayer to let that cup pass you by , only His will be done.

2 Corinthians 4:16-17
[16]For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
[17]For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Hold on for his manifestation, do not faint, his glory will be revealed. There are some things that might be taken from you, somethings you have to let go ,be renewed daily that this light affliction is for a moment. An exceeding, eternal, weighty testimony is coming soon.

My pastor once said ‘personalise the promise to materialise’.

I pray this blesses someone.

If it does, share, like, comment and subscribe.

  1. Faaaaikti! You know who calls you that way. It’s a beautiful write-up. May His will always be our heart desires. But why is it that most times, our desires (and maybe personal preferences) sometimes conflicts with His?

    1. Stephen! Lol… the Bible says ‘his ways are not our ways’ paraphrased meaning he knows humans will always have desires, but he wants us to let his way speak for us. If we get to ask the Holy Spirit before we take steps, and we don’t walk by chance like it’s written in the book which is very possible, then we will know that our ways tends to rhyme with his. His spirit begins to bear witness with our spirit and we move with his leading.
You should read the book too bro, go and download now o…lol.

      Thanks for reading and commenting

    2. To add, as a believer having the Spirit of a God in you, the desires of God naturally becomes your desire. Whatever you have peace of mind about, that’s my belief of the Spirit witnessing to ours, then you are in line. It’s not really until you go for fasting and prayers, whatever your heart is at peace with as a child of God is good.

We make plans as humans but God should be permitted to perfect all the plans according to his will only.

I’ll have to write on this fully. Watch out
