“Oh, not again. I can’t deal”.
“Just stop and let me carry you”.
“My child fell again” she tells her husband.
This child won’t give me heart ache.
A concerned mother of a child trying to walk is the narration above.
Few years back, my attention was drawn to a scene.
I watched as a mother struggled with her little child who just wants to walk home with her parents , unknowingly delaying them as she was slow, of course would she walk like them?
Later years, I saw another scene where children came to church with their mothers and were disturbing the church but with their walking up and down. It’s joy to them anyways, the joy of having to walk on your own.
A child of God without the joy of the Lord, hmmn, are you enjoying your Christian walk?
Their mother always keep an eye on them just so when they fall or going to where they shouldn’t, they pick them up.
God, our father is such with us. Allow him play, pause , draw you on thisy journey.
I also noticed that when they they fall, they are quick to stand up and try again and it gives them joy
Even if the fall might be painful, they might cry but no, they don’t give up and they rise again
They stand and are quick to hold the chairs to walk, another thing I noticed.
What are you holding onto to walk this Christian race? There would be moments of tiredness, but your anchor is important.
Hold God’s hand through your Christian journey. Be joyful as you walk through the stormy streets of life. Rise up at every fall.
We are all learning till we finally meet Christ so we all are like these children learning to walk.
The Bible says;
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Whether you have received Christ 10 years back and serving God, be like a child at heart. If you fall, make amends, clean up, let God push you through again till we make heaven.
Be conscious of your Christian walk this month. Happy November!
